What to visit in Moscow?
2020-02-20 15:48:59As we were only in Moscow for three days, this is the highlight of what we visited. Obviously, Moscow has countless other interesting places to visit.
The Kremlin and the Red Square
It is the most emblematic point of Moscow and to which you have to dedicate at least a whole day. It is also worth visiting when it starts to get dark to see everything illuminated. We visit the Kremlin and St. Basil's Cathedral. Despite what one might believe, the Kremlin not only houses the current government of Russia. As it has been the government headquarters for centuries, there are also various churches inside and it is well worth it. The entrance to the monumental complex of the Kremlin costs 350 rubles, the audio guide in Spanish 200 rubles and the entrance to the armory 700 rubles. You have to leave the backpacks in the slogan to the right of the Kutafya tower down the stairs to the Alexandrovsky garden (100 rubles). Tickets can be purchased at the ticket offices on both sides of the tower and those in the garden. The Kremlin closes at 5:30 p.m., but attention, because the audio guide has to be returned before 5 p.m., when the ticket office closes.
